WELDABILITY:
STEELGRADES HAVE A VERY GOOD WELDABILITY ACCORDINGLY TO THE COMMON WELDING SYSTEM (CARBON EQUIVALENT 0,50 max ISO 4394).

IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT ACCUMULATOR SHELLS:

According to the PED norm (Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC) the application of cylinder tubes as accumulator shells must consider the following peculiarities: manufacturing: seamless EN 10216-3 when cold drawn - max sulphur contents: 0,020 % - steel grade: P355N and/or P460N - heat treatment: normalizing longitudinal resilience: 40 joules min. at minus 20° C, transversal resilience if thickness is big enough.EN10246-3.

DIMENSIONAL TOLERANCES:


        - OUTER DIAMETER EN 10305-1:
          ACCORDING TO THE NORM 10305-1, defects of the outside diameter of any kind,
          which depth is not exceeding the tolerance foreseen in table 5,
          will not considered matter of claim, in conformity to the assertion of norm EN 10305-1,
          paragraphs 8.4.1. - 8.4.1.1. - 8.4.1.2. - 8.4.1.3

  PROPERTIES OF THE PROVIDED MATERIAL EVIDENCING ITS OWN HEAT NUMBER TO BE
  RECOGNIZED ON THE TUBE MARKING FOR A BETTER TRACEABILITY.
